I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year!
I know we certainly welcomed it open arms.
2008 was not our best year and were are quite glad to put it behind us and move on.
Some one who loves us very much gave us an entire turkey for Christmas.
To satisfy Adam's cravings, I invited family over and made Thanksgiving Dinner for the New Year!
It was delicious.
We then played Guitar Hero and Scrabble until midnight.
Adam, Phyllis, Mom, Jack and I went head to head in Scrabble.
As I had pointed out in the rules earlier in the evening, I NEVER lose at Scrabble!
I pulled it out in the end and won by four points!

Sounds like a great way to celebrate the New Year.
We got a turkey from my husband's work for Christmas, and cooked it on Christmas day.
