It's That Time Of Year Again!!

I can't believe how fast time flies... But it is definately starting. Football time is rolling around!

Normally, I would be ecstatic. I love to crash on the couch and watch game after game. That, however, is no longer an option.

Adam is now starting his second year as a TSSAA referee. He absolutely loves it.

I am so glad he found something that he really enjoys doing. He comes home in such a good mood. The only down side is that it makes for some really long days of just myself and the kids. Take today for instance. He left the house a little after 6 am to make his 7 am physical training appointment at the gym. He will then go to work until 5 pm and book it back across a couple of counties to referee a scrimage. Usually, this puts him home somewhere around 9, later if it is an actual game. Tonight, however, he gets to come home for a short period to eat and then has to return to work to do the end of month/ begining of month inventories. Tomorrow, he has another scrimage and Saturday he has a jamboree.
The up side is I get to spend the money he makes this week next weekend when I go to the WORLD'S LONGEST YARD SALE!!!

Black Mail??

I folded laundry yesterday. As usual, Caleb was behind me unfolding it. The next thing I know, he has on a pair of Adam's dress socks and my heels. It was to funny not to catch on camera. Someday, I know he will kill me for this :)

The heels were to big to make it on the four wheeler :)

Georgia Kate is finally learning to crawl. She has been army crawling for a while now, but she is starting to get the hang of real crawling. We were in Caleb's room today and he put down a toy she really wanted. She got right up on his matress like she had been doing it forever.

By the way, Caleb usually does have a bed, but it has been recalled. He gets to sleep on the floor while we wait on our new one!

And these were just too cute not to post!

It Was No Accident...

I can't believe it! I was totally unprepared for this.

A couple of months ago, I thought about potty training Caleb. I saw him getting ready to go so we rushed to the bathroom. He paniced. He was absolutely terrified of the potty. I completely dropped the potty training fever and decided I would try again when he got a little older.

Yesterday, I had gone into the restroom and Caleb followed me. He started to take off his diaper so I put him on the potty. I was expecting him to scream and panic like he did last time. Instead, he sat there so proud and POTTIED!!! I was ecstatic.

Of course, since I hadn't preparred myself for this, we had no treats or even little boy undies. A quick trip to walmart last night cured that and we have started out strong today. He seems very excited about going to potty so maybe we can stick to this!

And on a totally different note, Jack (Adam's dad) was complaining because I didn't mention him in my blog, so here you go!

All is Fair...

We went to the Anderson County Fair on Thursday night. I have been looking forward to this since we went last year! Caleb really didn't enjoy it a year ago because he was so young. This year, he had a blast!

As you are walking in, they have antique tractors and cars lined up. They also have lots of new fun boy toys!
