A few years ago on a trip, Adam brought up a lesson he had heard in his youth group.
I had completely forgotten about this until last night when Adam used the same example.
For some reason, the youth director asked them how to boil a frog.
You cannot throw a frog into a pot of boiling water, it will only jump out.
You must put the frog in while it is cool and slowly increase the heat.
This way the frog will not recognize something is out of order.
I remember looking at him like he had lost his mind and asked,
"Why don't you just put a lid on the pot?"
